Information We Collect

This App has no accounts, and we collect no account information. Everything it holds stays on your device: trip and itinerary information (flight numbers, dates, times); sleep and schedule preferences (wake time, bedtime, meal timing); and a record of the days your plan has already given you.

How We Use Information

To generate and update your personalized circadian plan; to schedule reminders on your device — these are set by the App on your phone and are not sent from our servers; where the App offers flight lookup, to validate flight information via our flight-data provider; to process subscription payments (via Apple/Google, who handle payment data directly — we do not receive or store your payment card details); and to improve the App.

Third-Party Sharing

This App sends nothing to our servers, and loads no fonts, scripts, or trackers from other companies — everything it needs ships with it. There is one unavoidable exception, and it is not something the App sends: if you open one of our web pages, the company that hosts it sees your IP address in its ordinary server logs, as it would for any website. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

Your trip and plan data — including the record of days your plan has already given you — is stored on your device. On iPhone and iPad it is held in the system keychain, which outlives the App: deleting and reinstalling does not erase it. On Android it is encrypted and stored with the App, and is deleted when the App is deleted. In a browser or installed web app it is stored in the browser's own storage and stays until you clear that site's data. On every platform, More → Privacy controls → "Clear my data" removes the plan, the record of past days, and your preferences. It is not transmitted to or retained on our servers.

Your Rights

Where the App supports accounts, you may request a copy of your data (data export) or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from More → Privacy Controls. Where the App does not support accounts, your trip and plan data is stored only on your device (see Data Retention) — there is no server-side copy for us to export or restore, and it will not carry over if you switch or lose your device.

Children's Privacy

JetLag Reset is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting internal access to personal information.

Data Storage and International Users

This App stores nothing about you on our servers. Your trip and plan data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Users in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom have rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because this App holds your data only on your device, a data-portability or deletion request is something you carry out yourself with "Clear my data" — there is no copy of it with us to export or erase.

Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we process your personal information based on: contract performance (to generate and deliver your personalized plan and the rest of the App's core functionality); legitimate interests (to maintain and improve the App's security and performance); consent (for anything not required for core functionality, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligations (where we're required to retain or disclose information by applicable law).

California Privacy Rights

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information).

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our landing page and any web-based portions of our Services may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, remembering your preferences, and understanding how our Services are used. The core App itself, used as an installed Progressive Web App, does not rely on browser cookies for its own functionality. Where cookies are used, you can control them through your browser settings — disabling non-essential cookies won't affect your ability to use the core App.

Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy through the App or by email.
